New replacement needle plate with engraved seam guide markings for select vintage Singer sewing machines.This is currently the only new replacement needle plate available for the Singer models listed below.Original Singer SIMANCO needle plates are no longer manufactured and are generally only available as used vintage parts when they can be found.

Important – Please Read Before Ordering

This replacement needle plate is manufactured to fit the Singer models listed above. However, Singer factory service information notes that replacing a needle plate may require adjustment of the feed dog height and alignment on some machines.

Most installations require no adjustment, but a small percentage of machines may need the feed dogs repositioned for proper clearance through the needle plate openings.

Minor dimensional differences between this replacement plate and an original Singer plate may be present. These differences do not necessarily mean the replacement plate is defective.

If your original plate fits but the feed dogs contact or bind against this replacement plate, the machine will likely require feed dog height and/or alignment adjustment. There is not another alternative new replacement needle plate currently available.

Installation Notes

• Compare the replacement plate with your original before installation.
• Do not force the plate into position.
• After installation, turn the handwheel slowly by hand before operating the machine.
• Verify that the needle and feed dogs move freely without contacting the plate.
• If interference occurs, adjust the feed dog height and alignment before sewing.
