Description

Abby Star Table Runner is a pieced table runner pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. Three star blocks — two outside blocks and one contrasting inside block — are joined end to end to make the runner. The stars are formed with a stitch-and-flip corner on 8½” squares, so there are no templates and no set-in seams.

  • Outside block background — ⅝ yd
  • Inside block background and outside block stars — ⅔ yd
  • Inside block star — ¼ yd
  • Binding — ⅜ yd

Techniques used

  • Rotary cutting from width-of-fabric strips
  • Stitch-and-flip star points, trimmed to a ¼” seam allowance
  • All measurements based on a ¼” seam allowance unless otherwise noted
